The service

Is It Larp checks technology claims made by crypto projects against publicly retrievable evidence and publishes the results as reports. Verdicts are automated assessments of specific claims at a specific moment, based only on the sources listed in each report.

Not advice, not accusations

  • Nothing here is financial, investment, or legal advice. Do your own research.
  • UNVERIFIED means evidence was not found — it does not mean a project is fraudulent.
  • A LARP call means specific claims were contradicted by specific retrieved evidence, quoted in the report. It is an evidence statement, not a legal conclusion.
  • We make no guarantee of completeness or correctness; sources can change, be incomplete, or be unavailable.

Acceptable use

  • Don't submit content you have no right to share, or anything illegal.
  • Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping of the checker, no attempts to bypass rate limits, no submitting URLs intended to attack the infrastructure.
  • Reports are public. By submitting a check you agree the input and resulting report may be published.

The X bot

The @IsItLarp bot replies only when explicitly mentioned. Replies link to the same public reports. We may suspend the bot or the service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on reports, or for any damages arising from use of the service.
